Link Assign Panel now has an extra section for assigning Layer parameters to Macro controls.Macro Control Panel: A new panel that lets you change assigned synth parameters globally across an entire performance.Whilst the latest version of the app hasn’t added anything radically new, it has made a lot of changes that make it easier to use and improve the overall user experience.
Each Instrument can consist of any number of Layers to a maximum of 128. A performance can consist of any number of instruments each with its own MIDI channel and crossfading keyboard span. LayR’s primary sound components are called Performances where a Performance is a set of Instruments and each Instrument is a set of Layers and each Layer is a complete synthesizer.
The app is described as “a massively polyphonic, multi-timbral synthesizer for iOS devices, optimized for modern 64 bit CPUs and capable of delivering up to 256 voices of rich, multi-layered and textured sounds”. I can try and help you find better note choices if you want.LayR first arrived in March last year and has been consistently well received. The instruments are fine, try changing the dynamics. Song 7: Probably best one, maybe try changing the dynamics?Īll of the songs have the same problem which is that the note choices could have been way better. Song 6: Near the last 20-25 seconds… the bottom melody (not the repeating notes throughout the song) just changes the mood of the song immediately, doesn’t have that creepy kind of vibe Like every other song above at around 0:23 the tone feels off Song 5: Try making the drums hit harder but maintaning the volume (at the start). Diminished 7th chords would work better there imo Song 4: I feel like you’re trying to build up stress by adding more layers of instruments, how about increasing the volume and pitch instead? It could work better. Song 3: The buzz hurts my ears, trying turning the volume of it a bit down to emphasize on the melody. Song 2: It gets messy near to the end, it doesn’t sound like a song anymore in the last 10 seconds. Song 1: Good, it gets a bit messy at around 0:28, trying using an E flat instead of those E’s or experiment with other chords.
What software did you use for creating these music? (Each of these are meant to be able to loop well.) YOU DO NOT HAVE TO LISTEN TO ALL OF THE SONGS TO GIVE FEEDBACK ON ANY INDIVIDUAL ONE –1– I am looking for feedback on these songs for a Piggy Fan-Game as well as opinions on which 2 are the best and which 2 are the worst.
